Our team of concert coordinators

We came together after the tragic loss of my son, Gabriel Nicholas Lopez, who died as a result of suicide on October 15, 2018. Hence the title of this concert: GNL Rocks!

We have all, unfortunately, been touched by the loss of several friends and family who have taken their own lives. As a way to channel our grief, we desire to help others find the help and ongoing support to work through life's inevitable pain. There is light after darkness.

A great deal of work has gone into this performance, and we couldn’t be happier to bring it to the stage. Pick up your ticket today to make sure you don’t miss out.

Tickets can be purchased online at: https://gnlbenefit.eventbrite.com/ or at the Kent Stage box office Bodega, or via the phone at 877-987-6487.

Experience GNL Rocks! Benefit Concert

This event is about music, musicians, and family. The concert was created to bring people together for the purpose of bringing awareness regarding suicide education and prevention. We are reaching out to mental health and counseling agencies in Portage County to help us open discussion by sharing their mission statements with us.

Additionally, we will hear from concerned community members, including some of the musicians to share their messages of experience and hope. We also look forward to hearing from student poets who wish to share their voices with us.

Stopping the stigma in opening up about depression, anxiety, suicide, and related mental health issues is one hopeful step in preventing suicide. Please join us in remembering Gabriel by sharing this evening with us and carrying the message to others.

Tickets can be purchased online at:

https://gnlbenefit.eventbrite.com/ or at the Kent Stage box office Bodega, or via the phone at 877-987-6487.
