Piano, trumpet and classical music were the focus of Jim’s childhood exposure. He began foolin' a bit with the guitar and singing folk songs (in private) in his teen years. He played trumpet, sang, and played bass guitar in a few bands early 70s.  Then he decided to hit the stage at age 28 as a guitar pickin' solo artist, playing various Kent bars and restaurants. Performing has been intermittent, to say the least, for decades. After a 17 year hiatus, Jim is back at it more than ever before since 2015! He has penned a handful of songs over the years, and his FIRST ALBUM, 68 years in the making, is at the printers as we speak!
