Meet The Artist: Nick Ashbaugh

Nick Ashbaugh, AKA "The Singing Biologist", is a Biology professor at Jackson State Community College in Jackson, TN. He graduated from Kent State University 1987 with a B.S. and in 1991 with an M. S., both in Biology. He is a multi-instrumentalist but mainly plays guitar and sings these days. He learned to play guitar and began writing songs under the tutelage of the late Rev'd. Dr. John Kilzer of Memphis, TN. Nick is the uncle of Gabriel and the brother of Angela Ashbaugh Finn. He has been married to Robbi for 28 years and has three children and one grandson.
